Organizational Workshops

Lead Group's Leadership Program provides monthly workshops to organizations serving New Americans from Africa.  Once or twice each month LEAD Group offers a short two hour workshop in the evening from 6-8pm.  Most workshops will be held at the Center for Families (1313 5th Street SE, Minneapolis, MN 55412).  Each workshop will offer opportunities to ask questions and interact with the material in a way that is relevant to your organization.  Workshops are designed for a maximum of 20 participants on a first come, first serve basis.  Participants must register for workshops prior to attending.  Please see Upcoming Events for current workshop offerings.

It is our desire to make these workshops and trainings as accessible as possible, while still maintaining sustainability and effectiveness.

The following is our policy regarding fees for providing this service:

• The first two trainings or workshops are free to any single organization.
• There will be a $10.00 registration fee per person for each additional training or workshop.
• You may register for any training or workshop in any of the following ways:

• The registration fee(s) will be due at the time of the training/workshop.  LEAD Group will provide a receipt for your records.

We recognize that cost can sometimes be a barrier to services, but we adhere to this fee policy for three reasons.  (1) It helps defray the cost of providing trainings and workshops, (2) it is a token of your commitment as a participant and (3) our mission is to empower organizations, not create dependency.
